Two Activities visable NJS Updated.jpg

Newcastle Junior school

We held half an hour workshops with three children in each workshops. This allowed the children to interact with the various stations, exploring with their hands in a style of teaching and engagement that was unique to each child.

The STEM subject was 'Movement'

Children were invited to the different stations where they had a hands on experience on:

  1. Ramps - range of motion and gravity

  2. Floating: Noting that the water moved the boat - cause and effect

  3. STEAM Train - children could give commands to the train by place different coded pieces on the train track.

  4.  Gears - one gear turns the other!
