Preschool, Early Primary & Home-Schooling
At The Brick Academy, we believe that every individual is remarkable and has a unique learning style. Our strength-based approach emphasizes the importance of comprehending and embracing the diverse learning styles of our students, thereby encouraging them to participate in a manner that enables them to learn best.
Our group workshops and incursions offer an excellent opportunity for socialising with peers while providing engaging, hands-on learning for each attendee. We conveniently come to an agreed-upon location, set up, and facilitate a play-based, interactive workshop covering a variety of essential skills.

All workshops and courses are designed with the intention of aligning with the learning outcomes outlined in both the NSW Primary School Syllabus and the Early Years Learning Framework established by the Australian Department of Education.

Our Approach

Group Work &
Incursions

Our incursion services cater to those who are seeking interim Early Childhood Teacher whilst in between hiring, desire to bolster their team of educators, or aim to offer children a diverse range of teaching styles.
The Brick Academy's workshop incursions and workshops employ LEGO® Bricks and Duplo Bricks to teach a diverse range of subjects and skills. This approach fosters an interactive learning environment, aligned with cross-disciplinary curriculum objectives.

It's imperative to prioritise academic skills such as STEAM, literacy, and mathematics. However, we should also emphasise other critical school readiness skills, such as collaborative work, problem-solving, and turn-taking.
We can also set up a social based workshop with the focus of a fun and community.

Whilst we have a variety of incursions, we offer all year round; we also have seasonal ones such as:

-
Book Week/Education Week
-
Mother's/Fathers/Special Friends Day/Birthday
-
Australia Day/Harmony Week/NAIDOC Week
-
Passover/Easter
-
St Patricks Day/Valentines/Halloween

Along with workshops supporting social and emotional skills like building friends and building resilience.
